Privacy

OGM Career is made by OGM World Wide LLC. This page says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

  • Your account: email, name and a hashed password.
  • Your career information: your profile (headline, summary, target roles, level, location), roles, achievements and skills; the text of resumes or LinkedIn exports you import (we keep the extracted text, not the file); jobs you track; resumes, cover letters and messages the app drafts for you; your interview practice answers; and the contacts you add (name, company, title, email, profile link, notes).
  • Feedback and crash reports you choose to send, with your device type and app version.
  • A push notification token, if you allow notifications.
  • Which device types you sign in from, to show your signed-in devices and warn you about new ones.
  • Which screens and features are used, without tracking you across apps or sites.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
  • We don't track you across other apps or websites.
  • We never send messages, applications or posts on your behalf. Drafts stay drafts until you approve them and send them yourself.
  • We don't read your LinkedIn account or anyone else's profile. Imports use only files you choose to upload.
  • We don't share your career data with employers or recruiters.

AI

Some features use AI to draft text for you, marked AI-generated. You can turn AI off in Account; the app then uses its built-in rules instead. Details: How we use AI.

Contacts you add

The people you track (recruiters, hiring managers, referrers) are visible only to you, used only to help you keep in touch with them, and deleted with your account. Add only what you need.

Your choices

Review, edit or delete any imported item; deleting an imported document also removes the suggestions from it you haven't reviewed. Download everything we hold about you from Account → Privacy. Delete your account and all its data at any time from the app or on the Delete account page.

How long we keep data

Assistant conversations: 90 days. Usage analytics: 13 months. Feedback: 2 years. Your account and career data: until you delete them. A security log of sign-ins and changes is kept to protect accounts.
